Second Attempts

“…we had just finished the first season of Middle:Below, which was a big ensemble cast. It had been a very, very big process. And I had a very, very good time.
It was because of that show that we were invited down to the indie meetups, and it was through that show that I got to know a lot of the people who were also making stuff at the time. And we went to conventions and did panels and stuff from that.

The Tower’s very much become the main project now, but Middle:Below is still how most people find us because it's a very accessible show, a very easy listen.”

Bio

“Tin Can Audio started with a slightly lost sound designer sitting in a cold flat in Glasgow who just wanted to make something. Next: the unexpected success of their audio drama podcast Tin Can.

It has since expanded to include another audio drama podcast (Middle:Below), an experimental audio fiction concept album (The Tower), a comedy show about dungeons (The Dungeon Economic Model) as well as a collaboration with In The Works to create Folxlore, a collection of queer horror stories.
In 2019 we had our first live show for Middle:Below, in collaboration with Frontier Events. We also did a 4 night run at the 2019 Edinburgh Horror Festival.

Our work has been featured in The Guardian, Bello Collective, Indiewire, and on BBC Radio 4 Extra and BBC Sounds. We have also worked with a variety of creative and corporate clients, providing everything from podcast production, audio repair, sound design, recording services, and music.”
